PCL tutor and photographer Tariq Zaidi has won several awards in the recent ‘Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3)’ competition – www.px3.fr<\/a><\/p>\n

This competition is Europe’s biggest professional photography competition with entires from per 85 countries across the world. The ‘Prix de la Photographie Paris’ strives to promote the appreciation of photography, to discover emerging taint and introduce photographers from around the world to the artistic community in paris.<\/p>\n

Tariq has won the 4 following awards –<\/p>\n

First prize in the Portraiture category with ‘Women of the Omo Valley, Ethiopia’<\/em>
\nFirst prize in the Fine Art category with ‘The Tire, Kids in Danakil Series, Ethiopia’<\/em>
\nSecond place in the Portraiture category with ‘Eclipse’<\/em>
\nThird prize in the Portraiture category with ‘Stilt Walkers’<\/em><\/p>\n
