A massive show covering 2 full floors of the Barbican, we spent a good two hours looking at hundreds of works by different photographers from around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3870\" src=\"https:\/\/photographycourselondon.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/BarbicanPoster.jpg\" alt=\"BarbicanPoster\" width=\"424\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/photographycourselondon.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/BarbicanPoster.jpg 424w, https:\/\/photographycourselondon.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/BarbicanPoster-212x300.jpg 212w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 424px) 100vw, 424px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\">There is a huge variety of work on show, ranging from the early photographers of the 1930&#8217;s such as Edith Tutor Hart, right up until the present day with works from Bruce Gilden. We particularly loved the candid street photography of Henri Cartier-Bresson, the striking portraits of Paul Strand and the detailed shop window displays by Jim Dow.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3882\" src=\"https:\/\/photographycourselondon.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Barbican41-489x700.jpg\" alt=\"Barbican4\" width=\"489\" height=\"700\" srcset=\"https:\/\/photographycourselondon.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Barbican41-489x700.jpg 489w, https:\/\/photographycourselondon.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Barbican41-210x300.jpg 210w, https:\/\/photographycourselondon.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Barbican41.jpg 536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 489px) 100vw, 489px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Other artists include;\u00a0Hans Eijkelboom,\u00a0Frank Habicht,\u00a0Candida H\u00f6fer,\u00a0Akihito Okamura,\u00a0Raymond Depardon &amp;\u00a0Rineke Dijkstra. It&#8217;s home to an abundance of topical plants, flowers and wildlife, with plenty of great photographic opportunities.
